At my setting....At my setting each child (from when they start with me until the beginning of their Reception Year at infant school) will have their own Learning Journey.
This document may include general/specific progress and achievements, photos and the children's own work. Parents are actively encouraged to contribute to their child's learning journey. The EYFS requires me to liaise with other health professionals or settings that your child may attend, such as an occupational therapist, speech therapist, day nursery, preschool or school and create links with them to secure the best outcomes for each child. A written progress check will be carried out during your child's second year for parents to share with their Health Visitor at the 2 year health check. This is to formalise where your child is progressing well and to identify where they need support. |
